ELISA
Welcome Beverly Hills High School, Class of 1984 to
your 20-year high school reunion. We are so glad you all decided to join us tonight.
I’m Elisa Kotin and could not have put this evening
together without all of the hard work and dedication from this committee. I can
say with certainty that Wendy Kaplan, Dean Clements, Tammy Zarchi
Clements, Beth Milstein Wahba, Andrew Leff and I are so glad to see this night finally here. It
has been a long 18 months of planning and each of you being here makes it a
complete success.
We
would like to dedicate this evening to our fellow classmates that are no longer
with us and to those that could not join us tonight.
We
thank you for helping us to contribute over $1000 to the American Cancer Society
from the purchase of your tickets. We are proud to make this donation in the
name of B.H.H.S. class of 1984.
I’ll
try to keep this short so you can get on with the reason you are here which is
to socialize, catch up with one another and reminisce about the years that have
passed.
We
would like to send out a special thanks to Denise Brown Marx for showing all
her spirit and making so many calls to ensure a successful turnout and also to
Mitch Block and Steve Cohn for extending their efforts to encourage attendance.
They all really helped get people excited about tonight. We would also like say
happy birthday to both Gregory Bell and Peter Miller. Any other celebrations…
Please
remember for all of your event planning needs to call
upon the vendors that so generously contributed their time, products and
services to the reunion. You can pick up more vendor information on the
advertising table and you can find their numbers in your biography books.
Don’t
be shy and make sure you get in front of the video camera. This is your chance
to be part of everyone’s memory of tonight. Terry, the videographer will do a
fabulous job with tonight’s memorable video. Don’t forget to order your video
from him and if you order tonight, Terry will waive the shipping charges. There
is also an order form in your gift bag.
We
would like to take this opportunity to announce our prize winners for the
evening. The winners came from your answers on the bio forms that you sent in
with your registration. There were some great answers and it was difficult
choosing our winners. If you are here now, please stand up when we call your
